I purchased TurboTax Deluxe 2018 mac download from Amazon.com. I installed it and started my taxes a few weeks ago, but now when I try to open the software and finish my taxes, the program crashes on startup and I can't open it to finish my taxes. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and that doesn't help.

The best remedy is to totally uninstall TurboTax and all associate files and then re-install. That will not delete or change any .tax2018 data file that had already been created with the tax data.
To uninstall the application and all associated files need to be deleted and then the application reinstalled. If there was a state then the state must also be reinstalled.

COMPLETELY unintsalled and reinstalled, NO HELP. Loaded the CD on a different computer, same results. IS IS POSSIBLE that a windows update is blocking TT? NAY solution to this problem?
