TurboTax 2023 for Mac Activation rotating dots

TurboTax 2023 Premier for Mac. 

Recently downloaded TurboTax 2023 on my desktop iMac running Monterey 12.2.1. The software loads and properly checks for federal and state updates. When the activation code entry screen opens, the-side right portion is 4 rotating dots and hangs there - I should be able to login to my Intuit account and enter the activation key. TurboTax 2022 worked fine last year on this iMac/OS. I’ve read similar issues with windows users. I’ve tried reloading software with same result. I haven’t called tech support yet. Any suggestions?
