I’ve bought 2 copies of TT Home & Business 2021 thinking the first loop was due to a computer. Both copies are stuck in the investment loop. One is on a Mac and one is on a PC. What is the solution??? ‘Wages’doesn’t show across the top of Home & Business. Furthermore, it skipped the retirement section. Are you assuming if someone has a business, they can’t also be retired??? I’ve used TT many years and I expect better.
Also, even if I do a work-around, how do I know it’s going to efile correctly since it’s defective?
I am having same issue and I agree with previous post that until this is fixed, it makes concerned about e filing. Never had a problem like this before in TT
Home and Business Online Download 2... TWO issues with software and not fixed in over 3 weeks. Loop in investments and closing states an error and that it is open somewhere else. Updated today still not fixed! UNACCEPTABLE TTX! Very disappointing with no response from anyone at TTX except you are working on it... FIX IT! You are holding up returns and our refunds.

Have used for some 20 years now.
THIS IS THE WORST EVER. We are all held up. Can't do or finish our taxes. At this point have no faith or trust they will be done correctly. Why isn't TTx weighing in here? NO ONE from TTx is contacting any of us. This is not SUPPORT!!! What the heck is going on at TTX?????????? How about some help and support !!!!!
You can click on "Wages & Income", and then choose "I'll choose what I work on". This got me out of the loop. TurboTax needs to fix this bug, or refund some of my software expense. (I am not holding my breath).
The reason we all select walk us through, is we are not Tax Experts, and do not want to make a mistake, or miss anything. Walk us through, is the way to be sure. And yes, they need to do something ASAP, refund our money, or better yet, offer us LIVE, and let a tax expert do our taxes. This stalling isn't helping anyone.
I found this chain as i have the same exact stuck in loop problem. But also had the same problem Peterpaulmary1 mentions about the EIN transferring from 2020 incorrectly. I started a chat but the issues isn't resolved. I have the least confidence right now in turbotax in my 20 years using it.
There is a workaround - go up to step-by-step to break out.
You should be able to work around it by going to step-by-step (choose what to work on) temporarily.

I regularly change modes from walk through everything to choose (and also to forms) - that should not affect the accuracy of your return so long as you get all the information in one way or the other.

I did click on the "Wages & Income" menu button gets out of the infinite loop.
