When printing the tax return, only long-term investments are listed. Have you entered the short-term investments? When entering the summary information into TurboTax Desktop, you followed these steps:

thanks for the reply. i did not have any short term only LT. and i did answer the sales total question. so i'll just mail the 8949 form although it's strange only page 2 Long term prints not the full 2 pages
The IRS only wants what is relevant. If you had no short term transactions, page 1 of Form 8949 is not a part of your tax return.
