Just out of curiosity, how was it taking ownership of the monumental AMT error of the software bug miscalculating the AMT and approving your claims to pay for the penalty fees and accrued interests?

See What is the TurboTax 100% Accurate Calculation Guarantee? (intuit.com)
It is an accurate calculation guarantee. Take a look through the information at the link above.
We don't know your story. In general, the accuracy guarantee means that Turbotax guarantees accurate calculations, and will pay any penalties and interest due to a bad calculation, but you always owe your own correct income tax. If you paid more tax due to an inaccurate calculation, the guarantee doesn't technically cover you, but you can use whatever version of Turbotax you originally paid for to file an amended return without extra cost (after the program is fixed, of course). In some cases, Turbotax has refunded customer's program fees. Turbotax can't refund the extra tax you paid, you can only get that by filing an amended return with the IRS or state.
If it is 100 Accurate calculation, why so many are complaining about the AMT error picked up by the IRS before your software and experts?
