Turbo Tax Desktop not saving progress

I have worked for an hour and the program will not save my progress. Using desktop on Macbook. Any suggestions?

When you are working with desktop program, your entries do not automatically save as you are working. You need to manually save your work periodically, but using the File and then Save menu options.

**Mark the post that answers your question by clicking on "Mark as Best Answer"

Filed extension 4/15/26, paid state on their website in full, but Turbotax says I owe full State amount. Paid Feds via my savings routing and Acct number. How to fix?
