Can someone who meets the requirements of TurboTax Absolute Zero can use it if they made charitable donatation or charitable contribution to a non-profit 501c organization ( Examples include The Salvation Army, Goodwill, local PBS / NPR station) and has no plans on itemizing a charitable donation/contribution, but simply wants a tax break? Should the individual use TurboTax Absolute Zero or another verision of TurboTax?

No, the Federal Free version, included in Absolute Zero, cannot be used for itemized deductions, such as charitable contributions.
What if you are not itemizing deductions for charitable donations and simply just want a tax break for charitable donations?
The only way to receive a "tax break" for charitable donations is to itemize those donations as part of your Schedule A for itemized deductions.
Thank you.
