Tuition Reimbusment

I already met the tax-free threshold on my tuition reimbursement for 2023, but I have another submission currently. Can I wait to submit the reimbursement so that it is deferred in Arizona to 2024 to receive the tax-free benefits?

    A. Yes.  The tax free benefit is based on when received, not when the tuition was paid or when the courses were taken. The tax free limit is $5250 per year.
