tubo tax deluxe with state

Doing my son's taxes. He worked in 2 states in 2023. I did one state , but when I go to do the other state it wants me to pay another $45.00 just to do the calculations. I will file by USPS, not electronically in the program.

This doesn't seem right.???

The fee is for the state program to prepare the tax return. It is not an e-filing fee.

Are you using the Desktop installed program? You get 1 state download program to prepare unlimited returns for that state. If you need to do a different state you need to buy the other state program.
