TT not allowing me to file - saying Form 7203 Line 16 Debt 1 must be marked as "formal note"

but it will not allow me to change the button to "formal note" from "open account"

This is keeping me from being able to file my taxes and extremely frustrating - just spent over 30 minutes with support who could not figure out -

Have you tried deleting Form 7203 and re-entering the information? Also, is the loan information new this year or was Form 7203 transferred from your prior year return? If transferred, you won't be able to change the debt type this year.

To delete a form using TurboTax Online:

1. Login to TurboTax and click on Continue your return to get into the prep section.
2. Click on My Account at the top of your screen.
3. Click on Tools. 
4. In the list at the bottom, click on Delete a form. 
5. Click Delete next to the relevant form.
6. Click Delete Selected Form to confirm deletion.
