This is not exactly what your question asks, but I received this from TurboTax and I believe if you follow the same procedure you’ll get to where you want to be. I’m going to copy that question and answer into here.
“TurboTaxCarissaLO answered your question:
How can I just pay for my tax prep with credit card and also get direct deposit?
If you have already selected to have your fees paid by your refund, Here's how to remove the Refund Processing Service before you e-file:
- Sign in to your online return, if you're not already signed in.
- Click File in the upper right corner and proceed to the Just one more step screen.
- On this screen, click the first Revisit link (next to You've chosen to deduct your TurboTax fees from your federal refund).
- Click Select Payment Method on the next screen, and then choose Pay with your credit card on the screen after that.
- Complete payment by entering your credit or debit card information.
- Continue to the Review Your Order screen to make sure the Refund Processing Service has been removed.
Please note that once your e-filed return is in pending or accepted status, it's too late to remove the Refund Processing Service.
If you would like to have your refund deposited, please follow the instructions below.
Answered by TurboTaxTonita to this question”To select direct deposit as your refund method:
- When you click the File tab, you click Start in the Step 1 section.
- Click View payment options at the bottom of the page.
- You will be taken to the screen that asks how you want to pay for your return. If you select, Pay with your refund, you will not be given the option to split your refund into two bank accounts. You will only be given this option if you select Pay with your credit card.
- Once you select Pay with your credit card, you will enter your card information and then follow the prompts to make your payment.
- Next, you will be brought to the screen where you will choose your refund method.
