Transmission of my taxes has failed. The error says "there is an update available for your version of TurboTax". It says I need to go the Online menu. Where is this?

All I want to do is look for updates.

At the top of TurboTax there is a menu bar (File, Edit, View, Online, Help)
Select the "Online" choice, then select "Check for Updates" from the list.

If you do no see the menu bar, and IF you are using Windows, you can select the Online choice by holding down the [Alt] key, tap the [N] key, and then you can hit the [Enter] key by itself. That will get you the  Check for Update choice.

If you are using the Mac Desktop program go way up to the very top so the Apple bar shows up.  Then first item is Turbo Tax - then Check for Updates.  Or you can Quit and reopen Turbo Tax to update.
