When I try and upload my 2017 TurboTax desktop file I get the error "The selected file is NOT a previous year tax file or it is corrupted. Choose a different file and try again."
The file works fine on my desktop so wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this issue when the file seems to be working just fine and isn't corrupted.
Note: I'm using a Mac computer.
SOLVED: Turns out the file can NOT be password protected. Once I removed the password from the file the upload worked.

Thank you! I was perplexed why a file working fine was being reported as corrupt by the online upload tool.
You saved me many hours of re-keying data for 2019!
