You can try to delete the IRA contribution worksheet:
- In the left menu, select "Tax Tools" and then "Tools".
- In the pop-up window Tool Center, select "Delete a form".
- Select "Delete" next to the IRA contribution worksheet in the list and follow the instructions.
To verify, you didn't have an excess contribution in prior years that you didn't remove by the due date? If yes then this is carried over and you will have to answer some questions in the IRA contribution interview. If you removed it by the due date then you can delete the entry on the "Enter Excess Contributions" screen. But you might want to check your prior year if you had wrongly a penalty on Form 5329.
