Total taxes due Tax Home page

I just submitted my 2024 taxes, and got the "Congrats! Taxes done" message with the total taxes due $25,618.

But the numbers don't add up:

   Fed $11,172 due

   State $7,223 due

The total should be $18,395, not $25,618. The difference is exactly $7,223 which happens to be my State due.

Looks to me like the total was calculated by adding the state twice?? I checked the forms and didn't see anything that indicated the discrepancy. A bug in TurboTax?

You've done the right thing by checking your forms.  Now you will have to wait.

Please check line 46 of your OR tax return again.

46. Net tax including penalty and interest. Line 42 plus line 45... This is the amount you owe.

You will then have to wait for Oregon to issue a notice, or confirm your payment.
