Where do I enter my daycare provivers EIN number instead of a SSN?

To enter an EIN instead of an SSN for your daycare provider you will have to indicate that the daycare provider is an organization rather than a person.  Even if the provider is an individual, since they have an EIN they are considered an "organization."

To enter the EIN, in the interview for the Child & Dependent Care Credit:

1. Continue to the screen, Here are your care providers.
2. Click Edit next to the provider's name.
3. On the screen, Who provided the care? mark the radio button next to An organization
