This license code is already linked to another account.

I installed TurboTax Deluxe on Windows and started using it. At the time of installation it didn't ask for an Intuit acct, just the license code. Then my computer crashed and I had to reinstall Windows. Installed TurboTax again but now it's failing to activate with the error "This license code is already linked to another account." Please help.

Where did you buy Turbo Tax? You have to sign in to an online account to install it. If you bought it from Big Home Tax that is a scam and won't work.
