Hello!
I have a question regarding the 3rd economic impact payment.
I was eligible for the payment last year, but as a dependent (my parents received it, not me). Would I select "Yes" for if I received the payment, in this case? This is found in "Federal Review" under "Federal Taxes."
If clarifications are needed, ask and I'll try to answer them.
Thanks!

If you cannot be claimed as a dependent on your 2021 tax return then you should be eligible for the Recovery Rebate Credit of $1,400 on your tax return.
Your parents received the 3rd stimulus payment for you based on their 2020 tax return when you were their dependent. They do not have to pay the payment back.

That answered my question! Thank you!
