Anybody get. reference code 9001?

I just talked to Irs agent they said they are just codes because we are checking wmr and they haven’t processed any returns yet the ext is just part of this process and we should see an update soon. I guess we just have to wait until after the 29th.

@maitai412 @MAINO4EVER Thanks so much for the info! I too got an acceptance notice then the 9001 message. Like many, it had me sweating buckets too! Sure hope all goes ok.

I just talked to a very nice lady from the irs and she said that the code 9001 is nothing but a message that took the place of the path act for early filers before the system was officially up and running and in a couple of days it should update to the original path message. And she seen a date for 2/23 and just to keep my eye on wmr in the next couple of days it will update

I also had that code and was freaking out. I had the accepted bar then the code and this morning it showed DD for 1/30. I was accepted on 1/14. Hoping all of you have the same today!!!!

Yes mine went away  and so did the ext number  I still have topic 152 showing and still no bars

Ughh mine is still there! I can’t even order a transcript and I filed super early, and was accepted a few days later!
