Work expenses are no longer deductible for W-2 employees. For self-employed, expenses are deductible that are “ordinary and necessary” for that type of work. For example, a hair dresser can deduct scissors, hair dye, and chair rental.
Training to maintain your skills or certification for your current work can be deducted, but not training to qualify for a new line of work. And I really can’t see any way that career coaching would be seen as “ordinary and necessary” to any career.
