There is no box 9 verification code on my wife's or my W2 from our employers. The turbo tax software will not let me file electronically. Is this true? How do I file?

Taxpayers without a verification code on their Form(s) W-2 may leave the verification codebox blank in their tax software product. If it's empty on your W-2, leave it blank in TurboTax. Only about 1 in 4 W-2s have a code in Box 9 this year.
