What does it mean when it ask did i support more than half my living expenses.

The program is looking to determine if you supported yourself by paying for more than 1/2 of you total living expenses, or if someone else did. If you paid for more than 1/2 of your living expenses this lets the program know that you supported your self and that no one else can claim you as a dependent on their return.
