Need info on form 8332

my ex wife and I have an agreement that she claims one child every year and I claim our other child. we have split 50/50 custody. do we need to file this paper if im claiming one child and shes claiming the other?

The custodial parent needs to print out and give the completed Form 8332 to the non-custodial parent to included with their tax return.
