Tax Year Prior to 2020: How to cancel payment

$300.00  way too much for a little help with my taxes.  And now I have to pay a thousand more to the IRS!

The charge I made on my card for the 32 dollars for state taxes I would like to cancel that charge and restart over

So it's for a state tax return.  Did you try the clear and start over under my account.

Yes I did but it won't allow me to start over since I already put in the card information and it's been charged so I need to cancel it and start my taxes over

since you already paid your account can't be cleared and started over, you will have to edit the information that you want changed.  Click the State Taxes tab and edit screen by screen.  Otherwise you have to create a brand new account.  This account will not be able to clear and start over.

And so how would I get my money back that's been charged if I can't use this account anymore and have to make a whole new one? Because I've already tried to clear and start over and it doesn't give me the option anymore since it charged me already. So how do I get you guys to cancel that transaction?

You will have to do it on the phone.
