Is the premier turbo tax download that I buy from Amazon the same as I would buy from intuit and is there any additional cost involved?

The Amazon versions of all TurboTax products are the same as those you would purchase at TurboTax.com. If Amazon's package includes the state and you do not include any other add-ons to your purchase at the time of filing, there should be no additional charge.
