1099 R on the screen "any periodic payments" I answer YES > continue. When reviewing the answer was changed to NO. Why is my answer changed? Will this change my taxes ?

I'm not sure if this will change my taxes or is just bookkeeping based on my answers from the previous questions.

The 1099R is tricky.  If you go back and Edit or Review it then it does not keep your answers from before but resets them so you have to go through all the screens again and answer them.  They are ok unless you go back in.  So don’t Revisit it.  If you do then make sure to go all the way through the 1099R again.

The purpose of the questions is only to direct you to the next screen which it does.  The answer does not go on a tax return so it is not saved anywhere.  If you repeat the interview, then just answer again.
