Is a work bonus included on my W2?

In April 2013 I received a bonus with an award of recognition from my department. That bonus was taxed and included on my paycheck. Is there anything I need to report for this, or is included in my W2?

Your bonus should already be included in Box 1 of your W-2. This box lists your gross taxable wages for the year.

How do u know if they included it into your wages

See if box 1 on your W-2 is equal to your yearly pay plus the bonus or Ask your employer.
