My child was born June of 2016, when entering her as a dependent do i put that she lived with me for 6 months or the whole year?

Say that she lived with you the whole year. You are allowed to say that for a newborn so that you get the personal exemption and any credits that you qualify for. Congratulations on your baby girl!
