I've read the instructions regarding filing timeshare rental income under 1099 MISC Non business income from rental of personal property. May I accomplish this with the Deluxe edition of turbotax?

You may need the Premier edition. Even though real estate is not your primary income source you still may have certain business deductions and/or depreciation expenses related to renting your property. If the Deluxe edition does not prompt you for expenses related to the rental income, you will need Premier.
If you are using the desktop software, you can use any version. If you are using TurboTax Online, you will need the Premium version. The entry you reference, non-business personal property, can be done in the Deluxe version, see below, but that section is not for real estate.
When timeshares are rented, they are subject to vacation home rules, requiring the inclusion of co-owners’ usage in calculations. If personal use by you and your co-owners exceeds 14 days or 10% of rental days, the IRS limits deductions to gross rental income, disallowing losses.
There's a special rule if you use a dwelling unit as a residence and rent it for fewer than 15 days. In this case, don't report any of the rental income and don't deduct any expenses as rental expenses.
