Most of the lines on the worksheet are blank except the bottom line. When I calculate the taxable amount by hand I get a different amount than Turbo Tax. Can't tell where the difference is because TT does not show all the lines. How can I see the whole calculation. (I think the difference has something to do with a 1099-misc but can't find anything on the worksheet relating to that.

I belatedly notice a tiny asterisk on line 20 and a note at the bottom SS Benefits Worksheet that led me to a different worksheet called Worksheets for Social Security Recipients Who Contribute to a Traditional IRA. On this there is a Worksheet 3 - Computation of Taxable Social Security Benefits (which is very similar to the SS Benefits Worksheet) and on this worksheet all the numbers do show.
This may not be helpful because we all have different items on our tax returns, but my line one on the Social Security Recipients Who Contribute to a Traditional IRA Worksheet was:
1040 Line 11 AGI less 1040 Line 6b Taxable amount of SS plus the amount I contributed to an IRA.
In TurboTax Online, to view the complete calculation, the Social Security Benefits Worksheet is available in the tax return.
View the entries by selecting down the left side of the screen, Tax Tools / Print Center / Include government worksheets.
In TurboTax Desktop, select Forms in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
I am using the desktop version. I still am unable to see all the calculations. Line 1 is listed correctly. Lines 2 thru 19 are blank. Then the final answer is on Line 20. I need to see what's on lines 2-19, i.e. how the number on line 20 was calculated.

To clarify, check your amount on 1040 line 6B. Is there an amount listed there? if not, then none of your Social Security income is taxable.
Yes, there is an amount there. Furthermore, if I remove the 1099-misc from my return in TT, I get the amount that I calculate manually for Line 20 on the worksheet, but still cannot see the details on lines 2-19 that shows where it came from.

Below you can see the full calculation of the social security taxable amount. When in Forms mode, click the document 'Social Sec' from the forms panel on left. Image attached below.
You can compare your 1040 with the income figures shown on your worksheet to understand all the figures used to calculate your taxable social security amount.
I have done that. The worksheet appears as you say, except lines 2-19 do not have amounts in them. Therefore I cannot understand how line 20 came about!
It may be advantageous for you to send a diagnostic file. If you would like to send us a “diagnostic” file that has your “numbers” but not your personal information it would help. If you would like to do this, here are the instructions:
TurboTax Online:
Go to the black panel on the left side of your program and select Tax Tools.
TurboTax CD/Download:
If you like, you can send a copy of your return that will be scrubbed to eliminate your personal data by using these steps:
We will then be able to see exactly what you are seeing and we can determine what exactly is going on in your return and provide you with a resolution.
There is no toolbar or black strip on the left of my program. I'm using Download version for Mac
To send us a diagnostic file from the desktop, follow these instructions:
I would really like to do this but there is no black bar across the top or side of my program. I can see the regular bar that starts file..edit..etc
the next bar is forms..details...estimate etc
then personal info..fed tax..state tax etc
I double checked that I'm totally up to date.
Help
You can share your return with a specialist.
The return will be "sanitized", meaning all names, social security numbers and personal references are removed.
We will then be able to determine the source of the issue.
Do you have the Desktop version of TurboTax?
It has a different format than the Online version.
If that is the case the bar you are looking for is just above the red circle with the check mark.
If you have the Online version
If you agree, please follow these steps:
If I've misunderstood your question, and this does not completely answer it, please contact us again and provide some additional details.
I have the desktop deluxe version.
That bar says : File.Edit.View.Forms.Easy Step.Flags,Window, Help.
There is no ONLINE option
NO. I sent more information. My desktop deluxe version does not have a "online" option on the menu.
If you happen to be using a Mac computer instead of a Windows computer, try looking under the Help option to send a file to an agent.
