Tax Year Prior to 2020: My cycle code is 20200505. What does this mean? And I found it on my tax transcript for 2019

That means they are processing your tax return and you should have a refund date soon. I’m guessing this weekend my tax record says processing date of 2/17/2020

No I haven’t checked my tax record again. But when I check refund status and speak to someone who does this for the federal irs she said it means that your refund is processing and to watch for a DDD soon. She said they when the Plath changes when you claim EIC they have all but processing the direct deposit to send completed they just have to hold it.

The date 3/2/2020 means that is the date you should have your DD by

The cycle code basically tells what deposit batch date your refund is in. Your cycle code means you are in the group of people who will receive their direct deposit on 3/2/2020.  

The first six numbers are the cycle week and the last two numbers correspond with the day of the week.

Example 20200405: 202004=(Cycle) 05=(Thursday) = Thursday, January 16, 2020

Cycle Code Ending in 01= Friday
Cycle Code Ending in 02= Monday
Cycle Code Ending in 03= Tuesday
Cycle Code Ending in 04= Wednesday
Cycle Code Ending in 05= Thursday

I think we will get a DD date by 17th probably for a 27th deposit we really won't know till it updates it shows on where's my refund processing now no longer check mid to late Feb so I assume I'll get a DD date in a day or so. Last year I filed around same time and got money on 2/27 as of previous years give a day before day after so it's usually around that time.

Last year I was cycle 20190705 processing date 3/4/19 and got my refund 2/27/19. Looking back at my other returns they finished processing early in each one but the 24th is when you should see a DD by into your account

I know someone who works for the IRS and she said this is BS and wishes people would stop posting this. The cycle code is weeks not days they start the first week the e-filing opens which was January 27th. It’s not Friday day 1. They weeks go if you e-file between Sunday and Saturday I filed on Saturday 1/25 and both were accepted same day I have my state refund back by the end of opening week.

570 is a hold code of some type!  You'll get a letter, but you may be able to get more info by calling.  Have you checked the TOP line (Treasury Offset).  I had a 570 for student loans several years back.  These update daily, so it's a good idea to keep checking.  Here is the number if you need it.  Good Luck!    800-304-3107

You should def reread what I wrote...my processing DATE was 3/4/19 and I got my refund the Wednesday before my cycle (not stated as a date but my cycle) 20200605-which is 2020 week 6 days 5. So nothing I said was BS. I think you replied to the wrong person
