Yes, you can e-file your 2023 return through October 15, 2024.
Per the Georgia Income Tax Filing Deadlines, October 15, 2024, is the last day to e-File a 2023 Georgia State Income Tax Return for Tax Extension Filers.
Patricia,
On the Georgia information worksheet there is a blank section called "Electronic filing Security Authentication Information" should that be filled out? If so, I can't find any info on how to get a State Issued PIN number. This is for Georgia.
Thanks,
Angie
I will print and send. Since all options are available for mailed returns, it's seems clear that the holdup is Intuit not completing the product in a timely manner. We pay extra for the state options and have expectations that we will be able to file in a timely manner. While its true one could file an extension, that would also mean that the various partners would then have to file for extensions on their personal taxes. Unacceptable.
Bottom line is that Intuit should refund some/all of the state fee as they did not provide what was advertised.
If you are printing and mailing forms for the Georgia State tax return, you would not need the e-file authentication number.

I was able to e-file Georgia from 700 this morning. (3/14/24 8:20am EDT)
First, I checked the status page and it had changed the availability date to 3/1/2024.
I tried to transmit and it was successful.
I was able to e-file form 600s as well (3/14/2024 8:51 am).
