Can I just enter $10,200 less then what I received from unemployment to see how it will affect my taxes?
That’s what I did. But I’m still waiting for the update to do it right, before I can file it.
That's probably what I'll do too
You cannot take the 10,200. off on your own. You need to show both numbers. what was the gross then the program should net the balance for you.
It's March 24th and the Unemployment tax Relief update has yet to be installed. When can we expect it? Thank you!
This is just so frustrating? Why do you guys have to take forever to update . I need the tax refund money and I have been checking everyday , no updates for me to go ahead and file my taxes .
Today is 03/24/2021 and I have not seen any update on the software yet! Please help.
Thanks,

Please see this TurboTax FAQ to sign up for email status updates: How do I claim the new unemployment benefits in TurboTax?
Well, this is the last year intuit will be sell me any tax software.
They destroyed themselves.
It is now 3/24, and the software is not updated yet. An earlier answer said you were going to update it on 3/19, and you apparently been telling the media that it is already updated. When can I expect to be able to file and get the new unemployment exemption?
How long to update my turbo tax for the unemployment Tax relief
Schedule 1 line 8 is ADDITIONAL INCOME, it is not a subtraction on the unemployment entered on Schedule 1 line 7. There has to be some kind of adjustment made in Schedule 1 PART 2 to remove the unemployment from taxable status.
This is so annoying. All Intuit keeps saying is they are working on it. At least give us a date. 3/19 has come and gone. We deserve an answer.
