Tax Exempt?

I received a job offer from a foreign embassy. I am green card holder and been living here in the US for 2years. Will I be tax exempted if I get the job? If I will be exempted, can I contribute with social security? And lastly, would I get credits with my social? This is my first time that I will go through this, employers usually deducts taxes on paychecks. Thank you in advance!
