i submitted, received a "TRANSMISSION CONFIRMATION" email from TT and then a "federal tax return was accepted by the IRS" email but when i returned to TT desktop software "check e-file status" tab it reports "you haven't e-filed a tax return yet".
what happened and how to be sure submission is complete and accepted? tnx

The Desktop program seems to have a problem updating the status. If you got an accepted email don't worry about it. It's been reported.
could you have started 2021 returns in multiple accounts and you are in the account that was not used to file your return?

was using desktop software so its just one user. also tried the 2 2021 returns i had started, though i had only finished 1 of the 2. neither show a filed and accepted return in premier desktop. only see that in the emails and when i originally made the submission in the software.
