Stocks item won't show an amount. It just says "Available now".

We'd love to help you but need more information. Please clarify where you are at in TurboTax. Are you downloading your 1099-B?
I already imported my 1099Bs. I'm on the income summary page. As I said the Stocks item shows my 2022 value, but just says Available now in the 2023 column. The button says Update. When I click update, it shows 2 of my 1099Bs form one payer. It doesn't indicate any thong needs correcting. I hit continue and it takes me back to income summary page.
I'm done with the federal portion and have a few errors to fix, but nothing related to stocks or 1099Bs.
I guess it doesn't matter that a number is not displayed on the income summary page, but it's disconcerting.
I have the same problem. Where I expect a number it just says "available now". This is after the online import from my brokerage. Clicking on update and all the options in it doesn't change or remove the "available now".
In that instance I believe that the system is processing more information than one number can represent in that space. As long as the correct totals are carrying over to the return it should be fine to ignore that.
Thanks for your response. It seems like it's a software issue that needs to be fixed. I don't know that I buy the explanation that "it's too much" for the software or the computer to process, unless this part of the software is poorly written. As a tax-familiar but not a tax expert person, I don't know if the correct numbers are in the actual tax form when the summary in the screenshot doesn't show the number (especially as it is compared with the previous year in the column to the left that shows up as a number). I hope this issue gets forwarded or escalated to the right people.
