I filed my taxes last night and nothing seems wrong with the federal one but the Virginia state tax says rejected. It says code Reject Code /ReturnState/ReturnDataState/SchHCI/HealthCareCoverageContactInfo and then underneath it says 'Continue without fixing'
Obviously, since it is rejected, I need to go back in and fix it. I can't figure out what is wrong or how I can fix it. Any help would be very much appreciated.

I am having the same issue with my VA return. It keeps rejecting and giving the reject Code of TY24_VA_Military_Benefits. When I click to read more about the error, it says "We have identified an issue in your Virginia tax return due to an error in our software. We have fixed this and apologize for any inconvenience. On or after January 23rd you will need to sign into TurboTax, complete quick review, and resubmit your return." When I follow the instructions, revisit the return, and look at the section on military benefits, there isn't anything in that space. I am not in the military, never have been nor am I dependent on anyone in the military. Is there something else I should be looking at?
You could re-check your entries in the Personal Info section of your Federal return to make sure you didn't accidently indicate any military status for anyone.
If none of your income is derived from Military sources, there is something else you could look at.
If you're using TurboTax Online, close the program, clear your Cache and Cookies and re-open.
On the left-side menu, go to Tax Tools > Tools, then choose Delete a Form from the pop-up menu.
You'll see a list of all forms in your return, so you can scroll through them to see if any of them indicate anything military-related. If you find one, delete it.

My TurboTax Live customer had the same problem and has been trying to refile her rejected return since January 23. The error has something to do with Virginia Health Care. We went through the state return and checked both boxes and went through to check out. She already had the Federal accepted and is paying the fees with her refund. Gong through the second time to fix the state return kept taking us back to fix it like in a loop. TurboTax error message is, "We have identified an issue in your Virginia tax return due to an error in our software. We have fixed this and apologize for any inconvenience. Since my customer has been trying to fix it on her own without any success, she called to get help. I have not been able to resolve the issue and file the state of Virginia tax return.
