I was trying to e-file my Federal and State Income Tax returns and when it went to file I was about to be charged a $25 fee where according to the package the state tax was supposed to be free.
So instead of e-filing both Federal and State at the same time I could only File the Federal Tax return and had to print out the State Tax return and mail it in.
I would like to know if I am entitled to a reimbursement for my $40 of my turbo tax software.
Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.your
Sincerely;
Albert P

Lots of people misunderstand this. When you buy the CD/download with a state return included --- it includes the software to PREPARE the returns of the specific state of your choosing. There is always---always---an extra fee to e-file the state return. You can avoid the state e-file fee if you print and mail the state instead. Then you just need to pay for a stamp.
