Start the Estimated tax in the middle of the year ?
Hello, I'm a sole proprietor running a small business. My income is a little and unsteady so far in the first quarter of this year. I have 2 questions that need your help.
1. Can I add the little income of the first quarter to the second quarter and make the estimated tax together in the second quarter?
2. I'm very new to estimated tax. I prefer to do it with IRS directly without using Turbotax. How to do it ? Is the Form 1040-ES the only form I need to fill out and submit to IRS directly before going to pay the tax on the IRS website ?
Thanks you for your care !
