SSN correct on w2s but first name is mispelled..can i still e-file?
i called the IRS and a few other tax people and they said you can still file because when u file it goes off your ssn and first 4 leters of last name.....just wan't some feedback before i file on T Tax.

Yes, you will still be able to e-file even if your first name is misspelled on Form W-2.
The IRS uses the first 4 letters of your last name and your SSN to screen entries for purposes of e-filing and internal processing.
