SSI for disabled person
My son is not claimed as dependent for 2019. He receives SSI (around $700/month). Where should I put his income on the 1040 tax form? Does he qualify for the COVID-19 stimulus?

If your son receives SS disability benefits, he does not need to file a tax return. The IRS already has his bank information for the benefits payments and will use it to direct deposit his stimulus payment.

If you’ve been claimed as a dependent on someone else’s 2019 tax return, you aren’t eligible to receive a
stimulus check.
