TurboTax does not get any information about refund status. You must check the status yourself using the IRS refund tracking web site: https://www.irs.gov/refunds

can i transfer data from 2018 return for my son that i did to a free turbo tax online that he wants to use this year (2019)?

Yes, you can. You can transfer the .tax file from a TurboTax account, or a PDF which will save some typing but will not transfer as much as a .tax file. See the instructions in our FAQ regarding how to access your previous years' tax returns!

I filed my 2019 tax with Turbotax software and my 2019 tax was rejected for incorrect 2018 AGI.  I made a request to IRS for a copy of my 2018 tax they had on file and IRS sent my a copy of my 2018 tax and the AGI on their copy of my 2018 is the same as  that I used for my 2018 AGI.  I cannot reach IRS by phone. I need your help to finish with my 2019 taxes.

I filed my 2019 w2 with ya all. They are pending right now. How do I go in and fix something on it. I just need to say that I got the 600 dollar stimulus

Do you mean you filed your 2020 taxes and added Stimulus Info?

 

You can't make any changes to that return right now.  If it is later Rejected by the IRS, you will be able to open your return and change your entries to the 'stimulus questions' in the Federal Review section.

 

If your return is accepted by the IRS (sometime after February 12), wait until you receive your Refund and then you can Amend Your Return if you need to.

@camero_75 did you purchase your software directly from Intuit or from a different retailer?
