I said 2012 in the beginning why would you make me go thru all of this to find out in the end I'm to late

The TurboTax online editions are only for tax year 2016.

TurboTax does not support tax year 2012.

The time to file a 2012 federal tax return for a tax refund has expired.  A 2012 return had to be filed on or before April 15, 2016 to receive the refund.
