snail mail
I have completed my federal and state returns for 2022. The message says I need to file by mail. I am out of the country. I need Turbotax to file the returns on my behalf.
TurboTax does not mail returns on your behalf. You will have to sign and date your tax forms and send documents such as W-2s that TurboTax does not have. You do not need to be in the U.S. to mail your tax returns.
If you are living overseas and are not enclosing a payment, send your return to:

Automatic 2-month extension
If you are a U.S. citizen or resident alien residing overseas, or are in the military on duty outside the U.S., on the regular due date of your return, you are allowed an automatic 2-month extension to file your return without requesting an extension.
