I started a single member LLC in 2024 in MA. I had no expenses and no income. I understand I do not have to file a Schedule C for this LLC. Can you please confirm this is correct? Also, what would I do for the state of MA? Do I need to file anything extra for MA even if I had no income/expenses?
Of course, I will file taxes with my W2 and other income. Just want to know if its ok not to file a schedule C in this case.
Thank you!

Your single member LLC is a disregarded entity for tax purposes, both at the Federal and the MA state level.
If the LLC has no income or expenses in 2024, you do not have file for your LLC. No Schedule C is necessary on the Federal return and nothing to report for the LLC on your state return.
Please read this MA Revenue document.
