Should I still pay 4th quarter estimated taxes if I have overpaid already?

I moved from CA to FL last year in October 2022.
I began to enter in my information into Turbotax for this years filing and after adding in my deductions I am already owed a state tax refund (CA).

Should I still pay something into CA for the part of the 4th quarter I was living there still and then wait for a refund? Or can I skip paying the 4th quarter since I've already over paid?

This is in reference to state only 🙂

Or can I skip paying the 4th quarter since I've already over paid?  Of course you can ... the IRS is not expecting anything and will not miss the payment.

if you are sure you have already overpaid the state, the is no purpose or requirement to make the 4th quarter payment
