I have had a job since July 2016. I will be filing for that, no questions asked. But earlier in the year I held a different job for less than a day. Should I file a w-2 for that job as well or just leave it be? It was about 4 hours of work before they realized I was not going to fit in.

If you are required to file a Federal income tax return, you must include all taxable income earned during the year. While the amount may be small, the IRS will still try to match their copy of the W-2 against your filed return and question why it is missing if you leave it out.
