Should I allow changes to my computer during download?

what changes? Turbotax does make any changes during download except possibly to allow you to select where to save it. During instillation it may need to install Microsoft Visual C++

Should I allow changes to my computer during download?

It asks me too when I update on Windows.  I think that’s part of the Windows user control settings.
