Short term stock sale has "Various" (two) purchase dates, however this is not being accepted from the 1099-B import.

Federal review comes up with an item from a stock sale. It prompts for whether several sales where short or long term (not sure if they are even related), then gets into an infinite loop where it does not accept Various as the purchase date.

The IRS expects you to have your paperwork from the purchases. Choose a date that is correct for long term or short term holding. The main thing is to have the tax correct. If you are ever audited, all the papers will be coming out and the date will be of no consequence if the holding time is correct.
