I'm using turbotax online. I've unchecked the self employment box and any other self employment box I could find. I've looked at other posts about this issue and followed their instructions so there isn't anything on my T-slips that indicates I'm self-employed. I'm still getting an error when I go to review my return "your province of self-employment is different from your province of residence."
When I go back to see if the self-employment box is unchecked, I find it checked. So it seems that the program is automatically checking it for me when I haven't checked it myself. I uncheck the box, save it, go to review and still get this error. Anyone have any suggestions? Can I just ignore the error?

Did some more fiddling and looked up some other posts from the community, and I found a post with instructions that worked for me. Went to self-employment profile, checked the box for professional, commission, and/or other type of business. Went to the business or professional activities page and there was a business document there for some reason. Deleted that, went back and unchecked the box, and it seems to have fixed the issue. Not sure how to delete this post, but maybe I'll leave it up incase someone else has this problem.
